The TAD 6L6WGC-STR RedBase is known for its classic tone, with warm, clear tones and rich, sweet midrange frequencies when used. Ideal for full jazz or blues sounds, these tubes pay homage to the small-bottle GE6L6GC and the classic GE versions of the 1950s and 1960s.
With exclusive black-plate anodes and a side getter, this tube rivals the legendary RCA 5881. The TAD 6L6GC-STR and TAD 6L6WGC-STR feature an innovative black-plate design, gold grid wire, dual getter construction, noiseless filaments, and a 1.2mm thick, heavy-duty glass structure. At just 84mm tall (without pins), this tube is also compatible with 5881 or 6L6WGB tubes.
