The correct size is important for good playing posture and comfort. Especially for children, a suitable violin prevents injuries and makes learning to play much easier.

• 4/4 violin - Full size for adults and children aged approximately 12 and older with an arm length of 58.5 cm or more.
• 3/4 violin - Suitable for children aged approximately 9 to 12 with an arm length of 56 to 58.5 cm.
• 1/2 violin - For children aged approximately 7 to 9 with an arm length of 51 to 56 cm.
• 1/4 violin - For children aged approximately 5 to 7 with an arm length of 47 to 51 cm.
• 1/8 violin - For children aged approximately 4 to 6 with an arm length of 42 to 47 cm.
• 1/10 violin - For children aged approximately 3 to 5 with an arm length of 38 to 42 cm.
• 1/16 violin - For the youngest players with an arm length of 35.5 to 38 cm.
