The Stewart Ellis SE-1100-S Pro Series flugelhorn is a refined instrument with a bright, warm tone and a stylish silver-plated finish. This flugelhorn is perfect for advanced musicians who want to combine expressiveness with playing comfort. The monel valves provide smooth and reliable valve action, while the adjustable tuning slide and French-style vertical tuning slides ensure accurate intonation and playing efficiency.
With a bore of 11.5 mm and a wide bell of 151.8 mm, the SE-1100-S produces a characteristically deep tone beloved by soloists in jazz, concert band, and brass bands. The trigger on the third valve tube provides additional intonation control, and the three water keys ensure easy maintenance. The flugelhorn comes in a soft, yet sturdy, soft case, ideal for safe transport and storage.
