The Sire V7 SR5/NTS is a 5-string active bass guitar from the Marcus Miller V7 Series, crafted from swamp ash in a natural satin finish. This reissue edition brings back a beloved flagship model previously discontinued due to a global swamp ash wood shortage. Now reissued, this model combines classic aesthetics and modern technology with a powerful, dynamic tone perfectly suited to the needs of today's bassist.
Equipped with Marcus Super-J Revolution pickups and the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with midrange control, this bass delivers exceptional clarity, versatility, and tone definition. The swamp ash body contributes to a lively, well-balanced sound, while the hard maple neck and fingerboard with EDGELESS™ beveled edges guarantee comfort during long playing sessions. The Marcus Heavy Mass II bridge and high-quality hardware provide a solid foundation and stable intonation. This reissue is a worthy tribute to the original design—built for discerning bassists.
