NUX NDS-2 classic distortion pedal BROWNIE DISTORTION

The NUX Brownie Distortion NDS-2 brings the classic British rock tones of the '70s to life in a compact pedal . Featuring a hybrid circuit design, this pedal emulates the preamp and power tube distortion of a real tube amplifier, giving you a warm, organic, and dynamic tone .

The pedal features a BJT input stage , which begins to break and overdrive in a way similar to a tube amp , while the asymmetrical clipping provides natural compression and response. Additionally, the Brownie keeps the low frequencies tight, preventing a muddy tone at higher gain settings.

Thanks to its low-pass filter, the Brownie Distortion simulates the Variac effect , which reduces an amplifier's voltage for a rounded and controlled high-end response. The power clipping circuit uses a modern low-noise op amp and two red LEDs , resulting in a symmetrical, smooth overdrive without harsh edges .

With true bypass and a high-quality TPDP mechanical footswitch, the signal remains clear and without tone loss when the pedal is switched off.
