NitorLACK N920735210 is a defogged 1st Lemon shellac in flake form, ideal for traditional finishing of guitars and other classical string instruments. This shellac is often used on flamenco and classical guitars because of its bright tone, protective properties, and high-gloss finish. The light yellow to orange-brown flakes dissolve easily in alcohol and create a thin, even layer of lacquer that protects the wood without affecting its natural tone.
Shellac is extracted from the resin of insects that live on trees in India. After collection, the material is purified, heated, and pressed into thin sheets, which are then dried and cut into flakes. This lacquer is not only hard and durable but also offers excellent protection against UV radiation and wear. The 200-gram package is suitable for both crafting and restoring musical instruments.
