The MXR MC402 combines a powerful clean boost and smooth overdrive in a single compact pedal. With dedicated boost and overdrive switches, you can control exactly when you need extra volume or gain. The tone control helps you tailor the character of your sound, whether you're playing through a clean amp or already using some distortion.
The analog circuitry delivers an open and dynamic sound without loss of detail. True bypass keeps your signal clean even when the pedal is off. The MC402 is built for professional use and runs on either a 9V battery or a DC 9V adapter.
