The Hipshot® Vintage Tuner Upgrade Kit gives your beautiful vintage guitar a new lease on life. Has your guitar been sitting in the closet for a long time because it doesn't stay in tune? This upgrade kit is the perfect solution.
The Grip-Lock™ system securely clamps your strings, contributing to improved tuning range and stability. Thanks to the patented UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate), you can install the tuners without damaging your headstock, preserving the value of your guitar. You only need one tool: a 10mm wrench.

- Retro-fit vintage style tuners for guitars with 11/32" [8.5mm] headstock holes
- All tone machines have a post length of .827" [21mm]
- Includes UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) for 3+3 headstocks - fits guitars with three tuners on one side, without drilling or special tools
- Grip-Lock™ pin and thumbwheel system clamps to your string, no wraps required
- 15:1 voice ratio for quick adjustment
- Schaller® M6 Mini footprint*
- String pothole fits strings up to .060" (expansion to .090" available by special order)
