The problem might be with your hardware. These tuners are a risk-free way to improve your guitar's stability and get you back in tune.
Features of the Hipshot Tuner Upgrade Kit for 3+3 headstocks:
- Secure with Grip-Lock™ tuning machines or the lightweight classic design, depending on your preference.
- The UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) makes installation easy, with no special tools required.
- You can easily return your guitar to its original condition without leaving any traces of the upgrade.
- Fits standard tuners with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes.
- All tuning machines have a post length of .827" [21mm].
The included UMP™ fits guitars with three tuners on each side. No drilling or special tools are required.
- Open gear tuning machines have a ratio of 18:1, while closed gear tuning machines have a ratio of 15:1.
- The Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumb wheel system to clamp your strings, without the need for wraps.
- The Classic option features a traditional, non-locking string post, ideal for guitars with a neck load.
- The string post opening will accommodate strings up to .060".
- Covered by U.S. and foreign patents.
- Made in Korea.
