The strength of this set lies in its versatility. Fender deliberately chooses multiple materials to deliver a variety of playing experiences. Celluloid offers a traditional playing experience with a warm, rounded tone. Tortuga (Ultem) produces a slightly warmer soundstage with a snappy response. Nylon provides extra grip and a controlled, smooth picking experience. Dura-Tone (Delrin) is durable and delivers a clear, firm attack. The Wavelength pick adds a debossed pattern on both sides for extra grip and a distinctive, distinctive playing feel.
