Description
The Fender 0990217920 is a modified 50s Esquire neck, crafted from roasted maple for added stability, deep color, and improved tonal qualities. This neck combines the classic "U" profile of the early 1950s with modern playability thanks to a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 22 narrow-tall frets. This gives you the authentic feel of a vintage Esquire, but with tighter action and more comfortable bends. The one-piece neck has a satin urethane finish on both the front and back for smooth playability.
The headstock features a gloss lacquer finish and an original "Esquire" decal, giving it a stylish and recognizable Fender look. The pre-assembled bone nut includes alignment grooves for precise string routing during final finishing. This neck is made at the Fender factory in Ensenada, Mexico, and designed for use on Fender® or Squier® guitars. Adjustments may be necessary for a perfect fit or finish, such as fretwork or nut adjustment.
