De Ernie Ball 2043 Earthwood Silk & Steel is een regular snarenset voor akoestische gitaar met dikte 013–056. Deze snaren hebben een silk & steel constructie met een bronze winding en een vertinde stalen kern. Je krijgt een warme, zachte klank met minder scherpe hoge tonen en een gecontroleerde attack.
De regular spanning geeft meer volume en body dan soft sets, terwijl het speelgevoel comfortabel blijft. Je hebt controle bij stevig aanslaan en houdt detail bij fingerstyle. Geschikt als je een volle klank zoekt met minder spanning dan standaard stalen snaren.
