The Cort KX507MS SDB is a high-end 7-string multiscale electric guitar , designed for guitarists who demand extreme precision, power, and versatility. Featuring a mahogany body and a beautiful poplar burl top , this guitar delivers a deep, resonant tone with a pronounced midrange and an aggressive attack. The Star Dust Black (SDB) finish gives the guitar a futuristic and brutal look, perfect for progressive and modern metal.
The 5-piece Purpleheart maple neck provides ultimate stability and sustain, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard and 400mm radius offer a responsive and comfortable playing experience. Thanks to the multiscale scale length of 648~686mm (25.5”~27”), this guitar has tighter string tension on the lower strings , resulting in better definition for low-tuned riffs, while the higher strings remain supple for solos and melodies.
The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers are the standard in today's high-gain world. They offer two distinct voices , from a tight, active tone with high-gain punch to an organic, dynamic sound . Push/pull controls on both the volume and tone controls let you effortlessly switch between different tonal characteristics, while the 3-way toggle switch gives you complete control over your sound.
The single hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction provides maximum sustain and tight intonation , while the locking tuners ensure your tuning remains rock solid, even during aggressive playing.
