The Boston JJG-2A is a high-quality vintage body for a JG model, crafted in Japan from two-piece alder. Alder has been a favorite of many guitar makers since the 1960s for its balanced tone, pronounced midrange, and excellent resonance. This body reflects classic center-joint building traditions and is ideal for players and builders seeking an authentic vintage look and tone.
The body is unfinished and sanded smooth, with only minimal sanding required for the final finish. The neck recess can be very tight; some adjustment with fine sanding may be necessary for a perfect fit. Wood is a natural product, so the grain and color may vary slightly from the sample photos, making each piece unique.
