NitorLACK N920734210 is a high-quality, defogged, super-blond shellac in flake form, perfect for traditional guitar finishing. This shellac is the classic choice for flamenco and classical guitars and is also frequently used for other classical stringed and bowed instruments. The transparent yellow- to orange-brown flakes dissolve easily in alcohol and create a durable, glossy finish that protects the wood while preserving its tonal qualities.
Shellac comes from natural resin produced by insects on tree branches in India. After harvesting, the material is purified, heated, and formed into thin sheets that are then cut into flakes after drying.
