The Mad Professor MP-SOMK2 Simble Overdrive Mk2 is an updated version of the popular Simble Overdrive, with a transparent, natural tone that responds perfectly to your playing style. This pedal offers wide dynamic range and can effortlessly function as a clean boost, a light crunch, or a warm, singing overdrive—all without sacrificing the character of your instrument. Thanks to a collaboration with designer Lassi Ukkonen, the Mk2 features increased openness, clarity, and headroom, making it even more versatile.
The controls are simple yet powerful: Level adjusts the output volume, Sensitivity controls the amount of distortion and compression, Contour determines the tonal balance, and Accent affects the highs and attack of your picking. The Simble Overdrive Mk2 is true bypass and works flawlessly with any instrument, from single coils to humbuckers. With its musical tone and robust build quality, this pedal is an excellent choice for studio and live use.
