Description
The NitorLACK N260784104 Relic Gloss Clear nitrocellulose lacquer is designed to create an aged, cracked finish (crazing effect) on electric guitars. This transparent gloss is ideal as a topcoat in a vintage or relic finishing process and gives guitars a lived-in look, as if they have been played intensively for decades.
After applying primer, color, and topcoats, two to three thin coats of Relic Gloss can be applied to enhance the crackle effect. This effect typically develops a few days after application but can be accelerated or intensified by applying temperature fluctuations. The varnish is also suitable for sanding and polishing for additional finish control. This 1000ml tin provides sufficient varnish for multiple applications or larger projects.
