NitorLACK N177009108 is a one-component acrylic lacquer in Pelham Blue , a classic metallic finish from the mid-1960s. This light, slightly aged blue-green shade was used sporadically by Gibson on models such as the SG, ES-330, ES-335, and Melody Maker. Epiphone also occasionally applied this color to models like the Olympic and Casino. Its subtle metallic sheen and vintage character make Pelham Blue a popular choice for guitarists seeking a classic look.
The paint applies very evenly and creates a beautiful metallic effect . As with all metallic acrylic paints from NitorLACK, a clear polyurethane or nitrocellulose topcoat is required after application. This topcoat protects the surface, prevents damage to the metallic pigment, and enhances the visual depth of the paint.
