- The UMP™ (Universal Mount Plate) makes installation easy without any special tools.
- Can be easily restored to its original state without any traces of the upgrade.
- Fits standard tuning machines that can be retrofitted to guitars with 13/32" [10mm] headstock holes.
- All tuning mechanisms have a post length of .827" [21mm].
- The included UMP™ for 3+3 headstocks fits guitars with 3 tuners on each side (no drilling or special tools required).
- Open gear tuners come standard with HS buttons, while closed gear tuners come standard with Hex buttons.
- A wide range of button options are available and easily replaced.
- Open gear tuning machines have an 18:1 ratio, while closed gear tuning machines have a 15:1 ratio.
- The Grip-Lock™ option uses a pin and thumbwheel system to clamp the string, eliminating the need for windings.
- The Classic option uses a traditional, non-locking string post for weight savings on neck-running guitars.
- The string post opening will accommodate strings up to .060".
- Protected by U.S. and foreign patents.
