The Fender 0990302921 is an innovative Precision to Jazz Bass conversion neck, designed for players who want the best of both worlds. This neck fits a Precision Bass body, but has the slimmer profile and nut width of a Jazz Bass neck. The result is a bass guitar that delivers the deep, powerful tone of a P Bass with the comfortable and fast playing feel of a J Bass. Manufactured in Fender's Ensenada, Mexico factory, this neck guarantees top quality and authentic Fender performance.
The neck features a maple fingerboard with a modern 12” radius and 20 medium jumbo frets for excellent playability and a tight response. The modern “C” shape and satin urethane finish provide a smooth, comfortable playing experience. The headstock has a gloss finish and features an original Precision Bass logo. With a pre-slotted synthetic bone nut and alignment grooves, precise string routing is easily achieved. This neck is ideal for players looking to upgrade their Fender® or Squier® bass with modern playability without sacrificing classic style.
