The Kala Spalted Maple U•BASS® stands out with its unique wood grain, resembling fine black ink strokes against a light maple finish. This fretted model combines style and performance, delivering a clear tone with tight bass, ample sustain, and excellent dynamic response. The black binding beautifully complements the natural grain of the spalted maple and provides a sleek, finished look.
This electro-acoustic bass ukulele is equipped with Aquila Thunderblack® strings and a U•BASS® Active EQ for amplified use. The mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard plays smoothly, while the truss rod allows for precise neck adjustments. The Venetian cutaway gives you access to the higher frets. Includes a padded gig bag for safe transport.
