The SX BJ406 is a 6-string banjo with a natural-looking matte finish, ideal for players who want to explore banjo tone without learning new playing techniques. Featuring standard guitar tuning and a comfortable 44mm nut, this instrument offers a familiar playing feel with the sparkling projection of a traditional banjo. The combination of an okoume resonator and a flamed veneer rim produces a warm, full tone and a stylish, natural appearance.
This banjo features a Remo headstock, 18-brackets, and a maple bridge with an ebony top, resulting in clear articulation and excellent response. The BJ406 is equipped with sealed die-cast tuners, chrome hardware, and a two-way truss rod for optimal tuning. The neck is made of nato and the fingerboard is rosewood, with white star inlays and ivory binding. A padded gig bag is included for safe transport and storage.
