The Flight Vanguard Transparent Black from the Rock Series is an electric tenor ukulele for players who want to plug in and rock right out. The PRS-style body with a flamed maple top and transparent black finish gives this uke a powerful presence. The mahogany body and neck deliver a warm tone, which radiates powerfully and full power from your amplifier thanks to the two humbuckers. The 3-way switch, tone, and volume controls give you control over every detail of your sound.
The Vanguard is designed for comfort and performance. The neck feels familiar, especially to guitarists, and with 19 frets, a zero fret, and a 35mm nut, you have precise control over your playing. The fixed bridge with block saddles and string-through-body construction provides stability and sustain. Enclosed oil-bath tuners keep everything perfectly in tune. Two strap buttons make it easy to play while standing, and the deluxe gig bag with 20mm padding protects your uke on the road.
